West Seattle....here we come!!

It's nearly official....(the real estate pros call this "pending")...but there is an 'ole 50's rambler in the West Seattle neighborhood of Sunrise Heights with our names on it!

With any luck, we'll close a little earlier than our 2/7/08 closing date, so we can do a little painting (I see red, purple, and yellow in our future).

The Tatas take Maui!

We're just back from our now-annual trip to Maui...and I still think this is THE way to spend Thanksgiving! We snorkeled and kayaked (maybe a little too often for some of our vacation mates!)--saw white-tip reef sharks (don't worry Mom, they were WAAAY below us) and a couple of mating sea turtles (with a couple of curious onlookers).

This year, we actually made it out of Kihei and made a return visit to Haleakala AND a drive around West Maui (on a narrow, winding one-way road). I still don't think we'll ever go to Hana.

Jillian (nearly) turns one!

With Matt and Melodee in town, we celebrated Jillian's first birthday -- a week in advance. My, how much fun we had! It turns out that Jillian loves cake, and Greggy was win excellent spirits (as good fidoman on one side, bad fidoman on the other)!



And Greggy did a little explaining while everyone enjoyed the delicious Cold Stone Creamery cake!
